Hello,
my client has modified the categories hierarchy of his catalogue, sometimes with 3 levels of depth.
The products are correctly displayed in the last level, but in the first two levels there's the need to re-associate many of them.
Is it possible to do it with MPM or there's another quick solution, besides entering product by product?
Also, there isn't a search by categoy/page, so it becomes a long and monotonous work to do manually

If your client manages their products in MPM, assigning products to categories means entering the correct page aliases in the appropriate product data rows. Therefore, if I understand your situation correctly, a simple "search and replace" in Excel should suffice.
If the client does not use MPM, the category assignment change could be done directly at the database level, e.g. in PHPMyAdmin.
