Applied Tax rate don't show

Applied tax does not show if 'Valid until' field is left empty. I had to add 2100-01-01 there to make it appear.

Yes, it is necessary to enter a value for the "valid until" field. As you already noticed, you can enter a date that's so far in the future that it has the exact effect that you would have wanted an empty field to have.
